Welcome to downdiroad.com!

As a Tourism and Hospitality professional living in Kingston, I have a deep rooted love and appreciation for my island Jamaica. Over the years it has been a hobby of mine to go exploring throughout the island. Whether it's going to a new event, visiting a river or beach in the countryside, or simply just discovering a new restaurant, I find that when it comes to tourism and Jamaican culture I always want to be in the know and I have always had a passion for sharing these experiences with others. 

Up until the inception of this website, I always catalogued my adventures via my social media pages. Friends and followers always suggested that I document these adventures in a more formal manner, so in July 2017 downdiroad.com was born.

The intention of this website was to document the adventures of myself and my friends while shedding light on various aspects of Jamaican culture. As time has progressed, this simple travel blog has transformed into a fully functioning lifestyle brand, with a key focus on visual storytelling. As DownDiRoad JA grows, we will continue pushing the boundaries and continue introducing new ideas while educating and connecting with our viewers across our platforms.
