Crêpes with Trace - Tea Tree Crêperie

So boom, Tea Tree Crêperie & Treehouse Bar!

Tea Tree I have to say is a very nice spot off Lady Musgrave Road in Kingston. As the name suggests, Tea Tree specializes in crêpes. They describe themselves just like this; "Tea Tree Crêperie & Treehouse Pub is a Cordon Bleu style Hot Spot and the first of its kind in Jamaica. Though we specialize in amazing sweet & savoury crêpes, we offer an incredibly varied menu that includes classic breakfasts, gluten-free as well as vegan delights, tantalizing desserts, quiche, salads, Blue Mountain coffee drinks, blended and specialty drinks, top shelf offerings and many more hearty goodies by Chef Maree and the team."

For those of you who don't know what a crêpe is, it's a very thin pastry item, usually made from wheat flour or buckwheat flour. Think of it as a super thin pancake that you can wrap or stuff with either sweet or savory fillings & toppings. I went to Tea Tree with the self proclaimed 'Crêpe Boss' Tracey-Ann & as always when we link up, it was good times with good company. It was my first time trying crêpes & what can I say, it was a pleasant surprise! I'm not sure what happened that night, but the service experience from the waitress wasn't that great. Thankfully the food made up for it, so I'd still go back again.
