Greetings roadies!

Finally, The Listening Party has returned after a hiatus of over a year!

Crafted by Dj Stamma & LatyKim, The Listening Party was birthed as a showcase that focuses on music producers, who are granted the opportunity to share their past, current and future productions with the "listening" audience. Held at 22 Jerk on Saturday January 19, 2019 the event featured sets from a variety of disk jockeys and producers. The event started with an electric set from Pseudokhule, who were assisted by the Listening Party boss herself Ms. Latykim, as well as singer GIHRL and Scantana. There was also a special performance from upcoming singjay Blvk H3ro who lit up the stage with his energy.

Next up Noah Issa took the stage to re-energize the crowd with an EDM focused dj set, filled with dancehall remixes and bootlegs. Producer KRS was next up, and he definitely connected with the crowd while sharing his productions (special big ups to him for his Koffee - Toast (Remix) which arguably had the biggest forward for the night). DJ/Rapper/Producer IOTOSH was next on stage, with a special demo of him producing a beat LIVE. Soon he was joined by rising stars Runkus & Royal Blu, as they performed the IOTOSH produced "Jusschool" to great reception.

Closing out the show were hosts Equiknoxx, featuring vocals from Shanique Marie & background sounds from the legend Gavsborg who played strictly vinyl/45 records all night!

Overall, it was a great event & a lovely concept which has much more room for growth. Personally I'm looking forward to great things from the promoters! Look out for the next staging coming sooner than you think. Check out the recap video and photo gallery below [recap video coming soon].
