Chasing Monkey Island – Part 2 – Rafting on The Blue Lagoon

“Could you be so kind, then show me a sign; I’ve been searching and it’s so hard to find.” – wise words by Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley ==> Check Out #DownDiRoad – Episode 1 – Drone Fun on the Blue Lagoon & St. Margaret’s Bay  I’m not sure where this fascination with Monkey Island came from but, one more adventure has ended & I still have not set foot on that piece of land. It’s the perfect mix of several genres, smooth flowing, and as usual it’s super creative. I’ve known the guys…

At the start of 2017 I said to myself, “Self! You’re gonna live your best life! You’re gonna do new things and you’re gonna be happy.” Well we’re halfway through the year & I’m not there yet but baby Jesus knows I’ve been doing quite a good job. The 2017 staging of Reggae Sumfest was scheduled to be held at it’s longstanding venue Catherine Hall Estate from July 16-22 with the tagline “Our Music Our Festival.” I’ve never been to Reggae Sumfest before. In fact, I have a love hate relationship with concerts. Concerts are tricky business. It’s almost like a full shift at work except I pay my money…
